Professional Studies B.S.

The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies is a flexible, self-designed program that gives adult students the option to design their own individualized undergraduate degree program based on their interests and professional goals under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Admitted students will earn transfer credits for courses taken at other post-secondary institutions and through additional college-level experiences.

The flexible Professional Studies program focuses on enhancing leadership skills, and it is offered in-person or online. Students fulfill the general education requirement in traditional majors, in addition to having an opportunity to combine a further two minor areas of study from a range of fields.

Underlying the focused, outcomes-driven curriculum is SFC’s robust General Education Program, which is the cornerstone of SFC and affirms its mission to graduate educated, well-rounded individuals who enter the workforce and work to change and culturally diversify the world.
